Abu Huraira رضي الله reported that the prophet muhammed صلى الله عليه وسلم said; “Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day; Should Speak Good or Remain Silent” Reported By Bukhari & Muslim This Hadith is a clear-cut proof that one should not talk, unless his speech is good. If one knows what he/she is about to say does not benefit anyone, he/she should not say anything at all. Allah (S.W.T) warns us: “Not a word does one utter, except that there is an ( Angel)watching, Ready to record it.” (Quran 50:18) So whatever we say is recorded. Any bad word will be held against us by Allah (s.w.t) and we will be rewarded for all the beneficial words we say. May Allah make us among those who only say what’s beneficial to others.
